Tournament Canceled

Sorry to say the long awaited tournament was canceled from here on out. We may try and do this again some other time but for now due to Edge and Suck leaving really put us in a hole due to time. Too many slots were opened up and the tournament was to be starting this Saturday with too little time to get more people arranged with partners.

On a happier note, Power and I have discussed a new idea which is much better in my opinion than the tournament. The tournament was a good idea but depended on other people to get on at certain times and everything. So, we've decided to do like a month's little mini-open tournament you may say. Everyone will have a partner like the tournament, but instead of 2 lose your out kinda deal. We'll keep everyone's record for the month. Then we'll have the two top teams of the month face off at the end. We'll also keep the All-time record of every team.

This should have no problems considering that it depends on if the two partners want to win or not. You cannot win with trying to get matches by yourself. You need to contact another team and tell them you want to challenge them.

Rules still apply to this also..
- No Juggernaut
- No Noobtubing (Grenade Launcher)
- No LMG's
- No Matrydom
- No Glitching whatsoever
- Standard matches are TDM
- Games are to 400
- You cannot face the same team twice in one week.
- No more than 5 matches a week.

If you do not follow any of the in-game rules you just lose that match. If you do not follow the match-making rules you lose FOR THE MONTH.

I used the old tournament teams as the teams now so if you want a change you need to tell me. Also, you cannot change partners in the middle of the month you'll have to wait till the end of the month before you need to change. You need a reasonable reason to change your partner SO CHOOSE WISELY!!!! The more teams the better for this.

This will be mostly our events from here on out. We may squeeze in other events here and there but this is our main thing unless not many people like it. I need feedback!

Tournament Postponed

Today's tournament was post-poned for obvious reasons...Not enough people were on that were supposed to participate. So we are going to try next week and see if it'll be better. If it happens again then we won't be trying again and we'll try and figure something else out for a new event. I do have something in mind.

What if....Tournament situation.
1) What if my partner isn't online yet?
-Anwser: Your match will be put on last on the list, Otherwise if he/she doesn't show then you will need to find a replacement in the little time you have or go 1v2.
2) What if my partner left in the middle of the game?
-Anwser: The host will be spectating the match and will be aware if this happens. He/she will be re-invited and if they don't show....You're on your own.
3) What if I don't follow one of the rules?
-Anwser: If you miss follow TWICE, then you the host will end the game and tally a win for the other team. So make sure your partner doesn't lose it for you.
4) What if the other team doesn't show?
-Anwser: You automatically win after you get pushed to the bottom of the list.

If there's anymore questions, I'll be happy to anwser them. Remember this will be easier to manage if you can get on the site's chatroom before it's your match!

Clan Tournament Dates

The dates for the Tournament have been agreed on...Every Saturday is a winner's bracket round and that's the round played for the day. Sunday's are for the loser's bracket.

Championship is on April 10th 2010!

Clan Tourney Decided!

Our clan tourney will be next weeks even for Sat./Sun. if needed 2 days. This is a 2v2 tournament and that means YOU NEED TO FIND A PARTNER!!!! Once you have that partner pm me (vkng1001) or Powerkart on youtube or make a post on it on our youtube channel. Rules on the tournament will be posted.

This is going to be a 8 team double elimination bracket...So we need 8 teams or this will become a single elimination. Also, we need to have these teams by next week FRIDAY!!! So I can set this tournament bracket up so it'll be organized.

Clan Tourney - Powerkart (Li#Cropblitz) explains all

-Clan Tourny-(with other clans if possible) or with just Li. Or both? So i came up with this idea clan tournement. Ive been talking to play2win bout it, it may be hard to find the clans to do it with so we will need some help finding the clans to do it with. Not this weeks event but the next one we might do it with Li members, over a 2 days period (sat and sun). Probably in teams of 2 or 3 (u can choose your own teams, just make sure your team mate is online). Format of Event:This is what i sent too play2win the time i fought about it: "I've just fought of something that maybe even better then the odd clan war. Clan Tourny? example: 4+ clans, 1st round, lets say.Li vs WS, and DS vs MVP, if Li beat WS then were through to the 2nd round. If MVP beat DS then Li play MVP in the second round and whoever wins gets to go to the semi final or something like that. And as DS and WS lost that round they get to play each other and the clan that loses comes last? It might mean that a few of us have to look for clans to do this but i just think its a good idea. Also maybe we could do a trial version for a clan event amunst Li members?"

There's been some thought into making a clan tourney with some other clans (If we can find some), Power and I are discussing if it's worth the hassle or just have a smaller tourney with just our clan mates. We'll keep you guys updated about the situation.
